Jesus christ /s4s/ what are you doing here?
I was under the impression that Glen Mazzara didn't start runningthe show until the halfway point of Season 2. If that's the case, than your joke at 26:10 should be towards Darabont... :|
Great job, dude. Glad I found this site.
Testing new comments, yo.
I thought I was the only one that thought this show was boring
I'm so glad you pointed out the use of Adagio In D Minor, that really pissed me off when I heard it in the show. Sunshine is one of my all time favorite films and it has a brilliant score.
Nerd culture has become main stream. This is why zombies, and vampires, and everything else nerdy is cool. People have accepted it, probably thanks to how powerful and stunning media is today, for better or worse. All of the hit movies lately (and most likely, in the future as well) are science fiction, in some way. Space, learning, science and knowledge are hot. We are starting to appreciate people for all of their parts, including their minds.
This is stupid. Petty arguments and bad humour. If you're going to rip of a program, make sure your video is not as bad.
Oh, I definitely noticed a drop in quality. However, whenever I'd bring this atrocity of laziness and boredom up, I would be insulted by AMC apologists who believed the second season revolved around the characters. What a load of fucking horse shit. Season 2 was awful and anyone who doesn't see that is either ignorant, retarded, trolling, or the CEO of AMC.
YMS, just as an fyi, I CAN understand why someone might freeze up if a zombie is biting them. It's not exactly a perfect analogy, but I got hit by a car in middle school and I had a split second to see the car about to hit me and I just froze in place. I could have theoretically dodged it, but my body literally was stuck in between some sort of mental process and adrenaline release.
I'm one of the very few people who can't really see why the show is popular. every now and then there'd be a few moments well worth my time. but they were few and far between. however when I say this, I get viciously attacked by hordes of people who claim that The Walking Dead is the greatest show on televisiony'know, the show that airs on the same channel that can't figure out that 3 straight months of nothing but Braveheart and a few shows they own is incredibly boring. Vary your shit, AMC!
Greetings from Germany :) Love how u anatomize "The Waliking Dead"! Will there be more parts of it (in the near future) ?
how about the newer seasons like 3 and 4? this is so fun to watch and saves lot of time cause you leave lot of the waste out. this is like comedy series now. i agree that the quality of the series is dropping all the time but when you dont have good budget it is hard for everyone to do anything.
One friend. That's the only person I've found who agrees the first season is the only one worth watching, past that jus make assumptions because everything after just seems forced and slightly off. You pointed out some good technical flaws, but honestly I can forgive tha if the story works. Maybe if they had put some of their shitty "Talking Dead" budge into the actual show it might have been interesting for more than 6 episodes.
Zombie romance is hot. Romance involving weird stuff is hot. Sci-fi used to be hot. Today, it's as pink as frosting on a bagel.
I'm actually happy as hell that for once, a guy who made a great comic book/graphic novel seemed to be really happy with the work of the guy who translates it to a different medium. I don't want to blame them because perhaps they are right, but sometimes creators can sound a little like douchebags when they complain about some studio they sold their work to butchered it.(Maybe the publisher has more rights to make that decision, I have no idea how it works.)
Methinks you are the troll. You say Season 2 was awful but in fact it was much much worse than that, and anybody who defends it should not be shunned but slowly tortured to death.
